In the past we have had to cancel our camp because of typhoon weather. This has happened about 1/3 of the time. So, we ask everyone’s understanding. If a there is a typhoon that is forecasted to approach Tokashiki island , we will decide to immediately cancel camp for the sake of the safety of the children and staff. If this occurs we will immediately notify all parents that we will be returning earlier than scheduled. We will work with parents to ensure that all children are supervised, and will be returned to their parents and homes. Because the weather is something we can’t control, we ask everyone’s understanding that we can’t refund all fee’s paid by the parents. If there is a typhoon that causes us to cancel our camp we will strive to refund to parents all fees that have not been used. For instance, boat fare cannot be refunded. But, meals, and dormitory stay can be. We will refund these to the parents according to the rate that camp was canceled. Please pray for us that, despite our deep need for typhoons, the Lord will give us a space of time to have camp.

過去台風でキャンプが中止になったことがありました。キャンプを行った年数の1/3の確率で中止になっています。そのため、皆様のご理解をお願いしたいのですが、渡嘉敷島に台風接近の予報が出た場合、子供たちとスタッフの安全を考慮し、直ちにキャンプ中止を決定します。その場合、すぐに保護者の皆様にご連絡いたします。その際、保護者の方と協力し、子ども達の責任者の監督のもと、すべての子供たちが保護者の方とご自宅に戻れるようにいたします。天候は私たちの力ではどうすることもできませんので、保護者の方がお支払いされた会費全額を返金することはできないこともご理解ください。未使用分の料金は、できる限り速やかに計算し返金するように努めます。沖縄に台風が必要な場合も多々ありますが、しかし、神様がキャンプを行うためのひと時のよい天候を与えてくださるよう一緒にお祈りいただければ幸いです。
