Tokashiki Adventure camp is held at the prefectural run youth center, located at the top of Tokashiki Island, which is located 40 kilometers southwest of the mainland of Okinawa.   It is a small but beautiful island with blue oceans, lots of mountains and sandy beaches.  The name of the youth center is Seinen no Ie, or youth house.

渡嘉敷島アドベンチャーキャンプは、沖縄本島から南西40キロに位置する渡嘉敷島の山頂にある青少年交流の家で行われます。 小さな島ですが、青い海、たくさんの山や砂浜のある美しい島です。

Seinen no Ie is a fully featured  government run retreat center, established primarily for hosting children’s and young adult’s many camping and retreat needs.  It has clean dormitories, a cafeteria with great food, a large gym, event halls, and lots of fields to play and run around in.  At night it also has an observatory  on top of a hill where  all visitors enjoy going to view the evening star-filled skies.    More information about the retreat center can be found online at:     https://okinawa.niye.go.jp/

国立青少年交流の家は政府が運営する研修施設で、主に子どもや若者のキャンプや研修のために設立されています。 清潔な宿泊施設、おいしい食事が楽しめるカフェテリア、広い体育館、イベントホール、そして遊び回ったり走り回ったりできるたくさんの広場があります。 夜には丘の上の展望台があり、訪れる人たちは皆、満天の星空を見に行くのを楽しみにしています。 青少年交流の家についての詳細は、https://okinawa.niye.go.jp/　をご参考ください。
